We'll also help you make sense of the forms and documents you'll need to complete in order to apply.

We also provide emergency hardship grants, and can help you access food/fuel banks and local authority support schemes.

How we can help

Check your entitlement

Based on your personal circumstances, we will check you are receiving all the income you should be, or any discounts or savings you may be eligible for. We will need to understand your health, housing and financial situation so we can give you advice.

Help you apply

We will signpost you to the right application or online forms so you can apply for any financial support, and in some cases, we will do this for you and monitor your case until we know the outcome.

Money Advice

Talking about money isn’t easy, but if you worry about paying bills, or need help with managing debt, we offer appointments to help get your finances back on track. Our advisor will chat through with you your circumstance, provide practical tips on budgeting and work with you and your creditors to arrange a repayment plan.

Scams Awareness

As we grow old, our risk of being defrauded of our hard-earned cash sadly increases. We run regular events in the city so you can learn about scams and ways you can reduce your risk online, over the phone and on your doorstep. We work with Trading Standards, Action Fraud and Norfolk Constabulary to keep updated with fraud trends and methods to avoid them.
