Forty Free Festive Feasts

Eastcote Park donated 40 festive lunches as part of Age UK Solihull's 40th anniversary celebrations.

The lunches were served across two dates - Friday 8th and Friday 15th December- at Eastcote Park Care Home and Retirement Village, Knowle Road, Barston, Solihull B92 0JA.

The meals took place in Eastcote Park's private Club Lounge, and guests then stayed to enjoy the care home's wonderful entertainment afterwards.

Each guests received a FREE three-course meal with drinks, as well as a Christmas gift collected and donated by local businesses, school and community groups.

The lunch was delicious, which was not surprising as Eastcote Park's Head Chef, Nigel, recently came second in the National Association of Care Home Chefs competition!

Voluntary donations towards the meals, and fundraising activities on the days helped to raise £268 for Age UK Solihull. Thank you to everyone who helped raise this fanatsic amount, and to Eastcote Park for your generosity in donating these 40 lunches as part of our 40th anniversary celebrations.
