Community Connections is a group of services that help older people in Solihull stay connected, active and supported within their local communities.
Designed to tackle loneliness and social isolation, Community Connections offers a range of opportunities for older residents to meet new people, build confidence and enjoy meaningful social contact.
What services does the Community Connections programme include?
The programme includes community-based clubs and activities such as lunch clubs and coffee afternoons for people aged 65 and over, and walking groups for those aged 50 and over.
Costs are applicable for some of our groups and activities.

The programme also includes our Linking People Together project, which provides short-term one-to-one support to help older people regain confidence, explore new interests and connect with local opportunities.
