Shopmobility, run by Age UK Surrey and supported by Guildford Borough Council, just celebrated 25 years of helping people with mobility problems to get around Guildford town centre.
This amazing achievement was recognised on Friday 10th September at The Friary Shopping Centre. We were privileged that The Mayor of Guildford, Cllr Marsha Moseley, her Consort, Cllr Nigel Manning, the wonderful team from GBC Community Wellbeing, as well as other Guildford Councilors attended. The Mayor unveiled a plaque to commemorate the occasion.
Thank you to everyone who attended. And a big thank you to the local businesses that prepared the lovely treats - Muffin Break Sis&Bro and Georgie’s Kitchen.
