An Age Friendly community ensures there is opportunity for older people to stay active, feel connected and feel included and valued in the community. We are conducting research to find out about your experience of activities in the Borough of Sutton.

By activities, we mean something you may take part in as a group and that could be led by an organisation.

We would like to hear from people living their later life in Sutton (50+) to find out what activities you enjoy, and what would you like to see offered. We are also interested to hear about what would help you do what you want, and what could stop you from being able to enjoy activities that you would like to take part in.

By carrying out this research, we can get insight into how we can develop and improve the activities on offer from Age UK Sutton, and how we can make it easier for older people to access everything on offer in the Borough.  What we learn will inform our plans for reopening activities and groups, and help us to support other groups and providers as they restart or return to ‘in real life’ operations. We want to enable everyone to enjoy sport, arts, social, exercise, musical and many more activities wherever they live, and whatever their circumstances.

We are keen to hear from anyone over 50 who lives in the Borough of Sutton, whether you usually take part in an organised activity or group or not.
