Date: Thursday 20th May
Time: 1:00pm-2:30pm

As we move out of lockdown, we want to talk about how we reconnect with our community.

An important part of an Age Friendly community is having opportunities for older people to feel part of the community. This includes social activities, opportunities for intergenerational projects, access to information and access to community services.

We want to talk about how you feel about being able to reconnect with others.
What does ‘community’ mean to you?
How do you feel about reduced restrictions and the opportunity to reconnect, go out more, and see more people?
What can be done to support those who may feel anxious about going out again or have lost social connections over the last year?
How do you feel about the opportunities in Sutton to connect with your community?
How can we create more opportunities for older people to become an active part of the community?

We are hosting this event via Zoom video call and would love for you to join us for a friendly conversation, over your favourite hot or cold drink. We can help you to learn how to use Zoom, and even lend you a camera device so you can take part - no home internet required.
