Are you a keen knitter, or recently learnt to knit?
By knitting mini bobble hats, you can help raise money whilst helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation amongst older people in Hertfordshire!
What is the Big Knit?
We've all seen the innocent smoothies wearing those cute little knitted hats in the supermarkets, but where do they come from? Innocent Smoothies has teamed up with Age UK to get the nation knitting!
The best bit is each hat donated to Age UK Hertfordshire is worth 25p.
How to get involved
We’d love you to knit lots of lovely little hats for this year’s Big Knit and whether you’re a knitting novice or a purling pro, it couldn’t be easier. Don't be afraid to get creative, we'd love to see your creations!

Hand in your hats
Once your little knitted creations are ready, drop them off or post them to:

The money we raise from the Big Knit helps us be there for older people who have no one else to turn to – so those little hats really do make a big difference!
Please note, the Age UK shops in Hertfordshire are not run by Age UK Hertfordshire, so by sending your hats to us ensures that the donations are spent locally.
