Location:Across Lancashire and Barrow

Hours: As and when needed, however we do not expect a minimum time commitment from any volunteer. 

  • Are you friendly and approachable?
  • Do you like engaging with the public?
  • Do you have some time to spare.
  • Would you like to have some fun while supporting your local Age UK?

Then why not come and volunteer for our dynamic events team?

We are looking for confident individuals to chat to the public, informing them of the fantastic work that Age UK Lancashire and Age UK Barrow do. We need you to be happy working as part of a team but also able to use your own initiative. 

Part of your role will involve:

  • Help setting  up events.
  • Raising money in collection buckets.
  • Being knowledgeable about and informing the public of the services that the charities offer.
  • Handing out leaflets.

Full training will be given and you will be fully supported in your role. 

Any out of pocket expenses can be claimed.
