We’re looking for a Support At Home Coordinator to play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, responsive service that supports older people with everyday tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and attending appointments, helping them stay safe, independent, and connected to their communities.

About the role
As a Support At Home Coordinator for East Lancashire you’ll be at the heart of our service, bringing together people, schedules, and support to ensure everything runs smoothly.
You will:
- Coordinate and manage staff rotas to ensure reliable, efficient service delivery
- Match Support At Home Workers to service users based on needs, preferences, and location
- Act as the main point of contact for staff, service users, and families
- Support, motivate, and guide a team of Support At Home Workers
- Monitor service quality and ensure high standards are maintained
- Respond to changes, escalations, or concerns in a timely and compassionate way
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to support service user wellbeing
- Manage continuous development of the service in your area and maintain service standards ensuring quality and long-term sustainability
Working in a varied and fast paced environment, you will use your robust decision- making skills whilst maintaining strong understanding and empathy for the issues affecting older people.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in coordinating or managing staff or services
- Understanding of the needs of older or vulnerable people
- Highly organised with excellent coordination and planning skills
- A confident communicator who builds positive relationships easily
- Compassionate, with a genuine passion for supporting older people
- Able to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing demands
- Experienced in a care, support, or community services environment (desirable)
- Comfortable using IT systems for scheduling and record-keeping

The role requires a full driving licence, business insurance, and an enhanced DBS check.
