Employee Joe Church chose our Venton Centre clients

Howdens, the UK's largest designer and manufacturer of fitted kitchens, is a large employer in Northamptonshire.  Every Christmas they give their employees the opportunity to donate eight gift hampers packed with Christmas goodies to the charity of their choice.  We are thrilled that this year Joe kindly chose to give his hampers to Age UK Northamptonshire clients and he called into our day centre with the hampers on Thursday 12th December.

Assistant Manager Ali Church, Jen Farrer, Jim Lawler and Minibus Driver Ralph Stahmann were thrilled to accept the generous gift on behalf of Age UK Northamptonshire.  Ali and day centre manager Vikki Denney know that some of their clients will not be expecting Christmas presents this year but the generous gift of the hampers will help eight older people feel they have not been forgotten.  Age UK Northamptonshire says a big thank you to Joe and to Howdens for their thoughtful gesture.
