Location:  based at the William and Patricia Venton Centre, York Road, Northampton NN1 5QJ

Rate of pay:  £22,323.60 per annum (£22,869.60 per annum from 1/4/26)

Hours:  30 hours per week - Friday to Monday, 7.5 hours per day

About the role

We are looking for someone with a background in the delivery and assessment of care to join our friendly, expanding team.  You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Care Support at Home Service, allocating work to care staff and making the best use of availability and geographical contraints.  We use Birdie to help us plan and schedule visits to our clients.  

This role will supervise the Office Support Worker and provide induction, support and informal supervision to the care staff employed within the service, alongside the CSAH Manager. 

You will work with the Office Support Worker and the CSAH Manager, ensuring all emergency on-call issues are dealt with effectively and that there are sufficient numbers of suitably qualified staff allocated to meet service needs at all times.  

About you

We need someone with a good standard of general education who is computer literate and able to work as part of a team.  The successful candidate will have experience of care planning and a background in the delivery and assessment of care.  Please see the job description for full details.

You must have an excellent understanding of the needs of the service and be able to respond sensitively and appropriately to clients' queries and complaints.
