Handyperson
Location: Northamptonshire - all locations
Rate of pay: £11.69 per hour plus mileage allowance
Hours of work: casual contract
About the role
To undertake handyperson, decorating and DIY-type work at the homes of older people in Northamptonshire to help them maintain a safe environment and keep their independence. This could involve fitting key safes, grabrails and installing personal alarm equipment, and also such work as moving furniture and clearing gutters.
About you
We are looking for someone with proven handyperson and decorating skills and practical knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other DIY-type skills. You should be able to demonstrate respect for vulnerable older people and have a reassuring nature when dealing with nervous clients. If you are practically minded, with competent home maintenance skills and love gardening, please get in touch.
