Community Champions Tribute - Royal Norfolk Show

On Wednesday 28th of June, we received complimentary tickets to attend the Royal Norfolk Show as two of our wonderful volunteers had been nominated to receive a Community Champion Award. 

We were amongst many other charities, groups and organisations who offer their time and make a difference to those in need.

The Community Champions Tribute included an address from HM Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk, The Lady Dannatt MBE to say thank you to those who do so much within the community.

Volunteers were applauded as they paraded around the Grand Ring, in recognition of their hard work and commitment to many in the community. We are very lucky here at an Age UK Norwich to have so many volunteers who support our services in many different ways. 

On reflection of Volunteer week in earlier in June, we would just like to extend our thanks once again to all volunteers, we couldn’t do it without you.
