Finance Officer

 

Based at: The Bradbury Centre, 16-18 Kingston Road, PO1 5RZ

Salary: £13.03 per hour

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Do you have an aptitude for Finance?

This is an exciting opportunity, and we are looking for an office-based Finance Officer to join the team at Age UK Portsmouth. The Finance Officer plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of the Finance Department.

Function of the post

The Finance Officer is responsible for supporting the maintenance of financial and administrative services working closely with the Finance Manager and full-time Finance Officer in order to meet legislative requirements and to support the operations of Age UK Portsmouth. These duties include but are not limited to assisting with payroll, employee records and Sage Accounts functions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone experienced in Finance to join a busy finance team, helping us to make a real difference to the lives of older people in Portsmouth.

Special conditions

DBS disclosure at enhanced level is required prior to any offer of employment. (This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974).
