What do our retail volunteers do?
Our charity shop in Wellington provides good quality furniture at a reasonable price and they offer a free local collection service for donations of unwanted furniture.
We have a variety of roles available:
Pick up and deliver furniture in Wellington and the surrounding area.
Help the van driver with the collection and delivery of furniture.
Assist the public with sales and enquiries, help with sorting stock and creating interesting window displays.

What is expected of me?
Van drivers and their assistants are expected to make a long term commitment of at least one day per week. Retail assistants are expected to commit to at least one full or half day shift per week, over a long period of time. Volunteers will also need to attend a short training session and provide references. These roles will not require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
