There are several ways your business could partner with Age UK Solihull, whether it's supporting us with a one-off activity or choosing us as an official partner for the year.

Choose Age UK Solihull as your Charity of the Year

Shaking hands.pngChoosing us as your Charity of the Year would mean that we could work closely together to get to know your business and develop a mutually-beneficial partnership over a year (or more). We would support you with fundraising activities and volunteering opportunities, and we would offer joint branding on our fundraising materials and our events, exposure to our supporter-base as well as positive PR and local media coverage.

Sponsorship

Tshirt small.jpgWe have various sponsorship opportunities throughout the year, from sponsoring our tshirts or our newsletter, to an event.

For example, by sponsoring an event you help us with the costs and in return get some great PR and local media coverage for your business.

Product Promotion

Money Dark Light Blue.pngIf you sell products or services, how about donating a percentage of certain items sold to Age UK Solihull? While we can't recommend any business over another, we can let people know about the promotion which will give you some great PR and hopefully some new customers.

Donate a raffle prize or service

Raffle prize.pngCould you donate a prize for one of our many fundraising raffles and competitions - anything from a bottle of wine or box of chocolates to a gift or experience voucher or free services would help us to raise even more vital funds at our events and activities. We always acknowledge your donation at the event and in our marketing materials.

Send employees to volunteer

Untitled design (1).pngCould you send a team to help out at an event or activity? It's a great way for staff to bond by working together to help vulnerable older people. Previous staff teams have volunteered at our supermarket bag packs, collection days and fundraising events.

Run your own fundraising event

Bake sale.pngYour employees could organise an event or activity at work, such as a cake sale, dress down day, a sponsored walk or run, or a raffle. Or as a company you could organise an event like a quiz night, a golf day or a ball. There's so many things you could do - visit our Fundraising page or contact us for more ideas!

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

Untitled design (18).pngWorld Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) takes place each year on 15 June. Every year, Age UK Solihull teams up with Solihull Safeguarding Adults Board Business Team for the campaign, which encourages organisations involved in the care sector and the wider public to pledge to help stamp out abuse in older people.

We ask our supporters to wear purple – as a symbol colour for dignity – or organise purple themed events and make a donation to Age UK Solihull.
