Together, we're helping to strengthen communities by bringing people from different backgrounds together, encouraging interfaith cooperation, and creating welcoming places where everyone can access the support they need to connect and feel they belong.

Age UK Waltham Forest is proud to be leading the Waltham Forest Loved & Wanted Alliance, bringing together people from different cultures, faiths and communities across our Borough.

What's on

Throughout the year, we'll be hosting a range of free activities designed to bring people together, including:

  • Togetherness Events, that celebrate our community and encourage people to connect.
  • Listening Circles, offering a safe and welcoming space for people to share experiences, listen to one another and build understanding.
  • Garden Parties, bringing people together to enjoy our outdoor space, meet new people and have fun.

We’ll also be building a network of Loved & Wanted Champions, who will promote the values of unity, togetherness and respect across the Borough.

Whether you're looking to meet new people, get involved in your local community or simply enjoy spending time with others, everyone is welcome.
