Age UK Waltham Forest is one of the leading charitable organisations providing services and support to local older people in Waltham Forest. We are currently looking for trustees to join our Board, which meets every two - three months at 3.30 pm on a Thursday.

Too many older people in our community are lonely, isolated and not getting the opportunities they need to live life to the full. Being a volunteer Trustee, your expertise, ideas and decisions can really make a difference to their lives.

Applicants with an interest in the issues affecting older vulnerable people, and those with skills in HR, legal (leases), accountancy, and fundraising are particularly welcome.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone wanting to make a voluntary contribution to their community. So, whether you are looking to gain new skills, get involved in your community, and have a real interest in the issues affecting older people, we would love to hear from you!

The minimum commitment would be a meeting once every two-three months during the day.
