Age UK West Sussex, Brighton and Hove are looking for some fantastic sessional workers to join our amazing team. We are looking to provide fresh social and physical activities to offer to older people, to help reduce isolation, keep them active and entertained!

We help thousands of older people to Love Later Life. Our aim is to promote the well-being of all older people, make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience, enabling people to flourish.  We offer activities, events, support services and information. It really is a great place to work if you really want to make a difference in people's lives.

If you think you having something that older people may enjoy, you could be a qualified Pilates or aerobics instructor, or an experienced and talented art teacher, calligraphy specialist, or a flamboyant bingo caller with capacity to take on some flexible additional work, please get in touch. We’re always up for trying something new and piloting new ideas. If you wish to make a significant, positive difference to older people’s lives and you’re ready for a new challenge, we look forward to hearing from you! 

Classes will be delivered in our buildings and community settings – please let us know which locations you’re keen to work along with your availability where we can also discuss rates.

Initially we are looking for Monday to Friday but may expand to weekends in the future.

All applicants will have a DBS check through Age UK West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and must have their own Liability Insurance. References will be sought and trial probation period in place. In return, we will provide training, ongoing support and a warm welcome to the Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove team!
