Who Are Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove?

Age UK West Sussex is a registered charity and a company linked by guarantee. We are managed by a Board of Trustees chaired by John Dixon. The board can be contacted via the office in Littlehampton.

We are an independent local charity working in the local community to help older people their families and carers, providing services to the over 50s.

Age UK West Sussex, Age UK Brighton & Hove and Age UK Horsham District merged in 2020 and are now working together to support older people in our area.

We are now known collectively as Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove and the merger allows us to share expertise, resources and local knowledge, ensuring services are sustainable and able to support increased demand.

How you can get in touch

Our head office is in Littlehampton. You will find us at Suite 2, Anchor Springs - the entrance is between the sweet shop and St Barnabas charity shop.

We also have branches in Brighton and Horsham District and have a number of social activity centres across the county.

As a registered charity we rely on your support to keep serving the community.

We are supported by donations from the public, contracts from the county and local councils and some charitable grants.

We are a local service with a national name.
