Digital Outreach Worker (ref 24.01) 

We are looking for an individual who understands the barriers older people may feel towards the digital world, someone who is confident using a range of digital devices, IT packages and popular applications and importantly, someone who can explain technology and the benefits of digital in a clear and simple way. Our Digital Inclusion Programme is an innovative project encouraging and supporting older people to engage with online services necessary to living well.

The Digital Outreach Worker will support the effective delivery of the Digital Inclusion Programme to people over the age of 50 across County Durham.

This opportunity would suit someone who has the natural ability to build relationships and possesses good organisational and digital skills. You will have a positive can-do attitude and willingness to help develop and deliver our digital inclusion support service to older people.

Based at our head office at Belmont Business Park, Durham DH1 1TW. This post will require you to have access to a car and have a clean driving licence. The post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
