As lockdown restrictions have started to ease, we are restarting some of our usual activities and clubs and continue to develop new services that will support you
Our dedicated staff and volunteers are offering:
- A shopping and prescription collection service for those who are unable to leave their homes
- Regular wellbeing phone calls where you can chat to someone and find out what other support may be available to you and be signposted to other services that may be able to help you during this time
It is important to keep our spirits up during this time, to feel connected to people, cope with anxieties and worries and share our concerns. Our website has lots of information and is regularly updated. We all need to be aware of the latest information and guidelines from the Government so that we can stay safe and limit the spread of the virus. Covid-19 Vaccine Fraud - criminals are using the COVID-19 vaccine as a way to target the public by tricking them to hand over cash or financial details. Find out more about this in our news article.
Can you help us?
If you are able to offer help during Covid-19 we would love to hear from you. We need volunteers to help us with shopping support for older people living in County Durham. For more information visit our volunteering section
