Funded by the UK Government, we have Crisis Resilience funding to help those aged 50 plus living in County Durham who encounter a financial shock or crisis that puts them or their household in financial difficulty

The Crisis Resilience Fund (CRF) is to provide an immediate safety net. This means quick, accessible support, regardless of the underlying cause or nature of need, including those who face a shortfall in meeting their daily costs.

CRF Crisis Payments use a needs-based, person-centred approach to provide the most appropriate support for an individual’s circumstances.

Support can include food vouchers, cash payments, white goods and energy payments. Additional support can be made dependent upon need. Evidence of financial vulnerability is required before assistance can be organised and financial and digital support will form part of the support package.
