Quick and easy crafts to try

We have regular crafting activities that are available to anyone aged 50+

Needles and Natter and Craft & Chat, are FREE crafty sessions that meet regularly on Wednesdays at the The Venue Community Centre in Stanley.

We also have NEW Crafty Crew taster sessions due to start on Tuesday 7 November at The Shed at our Charity Superstore in Mandale Business Park DH1 1TH. These sessions are FREE and will be held weekly on Tuesdays from 7 November to 12 December 2023 (1.30pm to 3.30pm). Come and discover new skills and make new friends - get crafty with glass etching, pyrography and more with our volunteer crafters. Pre-booking is essential for Crafty Crew taster sessions.

You can also try our online activities, ideas and suggestions at home (see the links below).  They have been created for anyone to try without having to spend lots of money on expensive equipment and materials.
