Deputy Chief Executive Officer (26.09)
Age UK County Durham has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, responsible for strategic direction and operations. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the organisation’s cause and committed to supporting people aged 50+. We are keen to find an individual who will support the organisation to deliver the strategies to grow and develop the organisation. This opportunity would suit someone who has the natural ability to build relationships and possesses excellent organisational skills. You will have a positive can-do attitude and willingness to help with varied projects and challenges. The post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

Counsellor/Psychotherapist (26.10) - Older Person’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Service
Are you a compassionate and experienced counsellor looking to make a real difference in the lives of people aged 50+? The successful applicant needs to have demonstrated experience of providing counselling in both individual and group settings. You must have excellent clinical counselling skills, be a good communicator and have a keen interest the health and well-being of people aged 50+. You should be able to work effectively alone, and as part of the multidisciplinary team. You will have achieved BACP (or equivalent) registration or have submitted and be awaiting the outcome. The post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

Bereavement Counsellor (26.11) - Older Person’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Service
