Community Resilience Worker (2 posts)

Salary NJC Point 10 £21,322 plus up to 5% pension contribution to Organisation’s Pension Scheme. Full time (37 hours per week). Fixed Term until 30 April 2022.

We currently have exciting opportunities for a compassionate and committed individual to join us as Community Resilience Worker. The Community Resilience Worker will support the development and delivery of focussed outreach work.  The post holder will offer support for people who have either:  had Covid19, been bereaved by Covid 19 or work as a key worker and have been adversely affected as a result of Covid 19

We would expect a minimum experience of:

  • Experience of working with older people
  • Sound understanding of the factors affecting Mental Health with a good understanding of the challenges faced by people living with the effects of COVID-19 and Long COVID-19.

If you want to work in an environment that makes a real difference to older people’s lives then this could be the job for you. The post will be based at our Head Office at Belmont Business Park, Durham but you may also be required to travel to other sites and within the community and therefore a clean driving licence or daily access to transport is essential. The post will be subject to a DBS check.
