We're so excited for The Great 8 Challenge. Please register your interest and receive our Great 8 Fundraisers Pack here.
The Great 8 is a simple fundraising event with an aim to bring people and communities together. The event is all-inclusive, whereby anyone can get involved.
The event runs throughout the 8th month (August), and you can choose how long you want your fundraising event to run for (for example, a day, a week, or for the whole month).
Once you have come up with your idea, you will want to think about how you promote it with your family, friends, and colleagues.

But you may want to share your event on your social media pages if you use social media, or at your workplace, or perhaps through local media such as your local radio station.
The quickest way to raise sponsorship is online, and we recommend Crowd Funder. We have a dedicated Crowdfunder page, which you can link up with.
Simply search for Age UK Lancashire ‘The Great 8’ and click on ‘Start Fundraising’. This will take you to a new page, which will let you create your fundraising page.
You can use pictures, write a story, and post updates. You can share your fundraising page with your network.
