Chairman and and Chief executive of Age UK Milton Keynes

Soon to be celebrating 40 years

We have been working with local people since June 1978 and every £1 given to the charity supports the crucial help we provide in Milton Keynes.  Money raised in Milton Keynes stays in Milton Keynes.

On Tuesday 1st June 2010 we changed our name to Age UK Milton Keynes, having joined the Age UK partnership formed from the merger of Age Concern and Help the Aged.

We continue to share the same values, standards and overall aims: to help all older people make more of life.

Our mission statement

Age UK Milton Keynes works with and for older people to make a real and positive difference that contributes to their wellbeing and quality of life.

Our chief executive

The chief executive of Age UK Milton Keynes is Jane Palmer.  She is responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation.

Organisational Quality Standards

We are proud to have achieved the Organisational Quality Standards for local Age UKs in England.

Our achievement of the Organisational Quality Standards recognises the high standard of our performance as an organisation. It certifies that we are a well-governed and effective organisation committed to the wellbeing of older people, our staff and volunteers and to working in partnership with others. The Standards are externally assessed by industry leaders SGS and endorsed by the Charity Commission.
