Spring Volunteer
We need you in Towcester
Would you be able to volunteer to support Spring in Towcester? Duties include making teas and coffees, and helping to set up for groups.
Approximately four hours of volunteering a week when Spring groups are running. A flexible "as and when needed and available" approach is all that is required.
All we ask is that you are:
- age 18 or over
- flexible and able to support our groups in Towcester
- honest, reliable and friendly
Role description
You will be given full details of the role. This in no way implies or states that a contract of employment is or will be offered. This is a voluntary unpaid role.
What your day could involve
- Ensuring all clients are welcomed and acknowledged.
- Helping the team with serving refreshments.
- Encouraging and helping clients with activities, either on a one-to-one basis or in a group.
- Ensuring client safety is paramount at all times.
- Support the team by getting involved.
- Working as part of a team.
Your responsibilities
- you must maintain confidentiality at all times
- be courteous and professional
- arrive in good time for your shift
Some important points
- Do not discuss client or staff information with anyone other than authorised personnel
- Under no circumstances should you share your personal contact details
- Enhanced DBS will be required and applied for by Age UK Northamptonshire
