Meadow Court

Following a consultation that ended in October, the Redbridge Clinical Commissioning Group's Governing Body has decided to end their contract with Care UK for beds at Meadow Court.

Meadow Court is a purpose built nursing home for people over 65 with dementia and disabilities. The home is run by Care UK and the CCG have a contract for 48 beds at the home. The CCG say that all of the beds they pay for are not being used and this is wasting a lot of money. They cannot just pay for beds being used as Care UK say they would not be able to continue running the home without the CCG's funding. Residents at the home will have to be moved to other nursing homes in the area which is causing concern for residents and their families. You can read more about the consultation and the decision below.
