Become a trustee for Age UK Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham and Havering (Age UK RBH)

We are looking for dedicated, passionate people, of all ages, with a range of professional and life experience, to join the Age UK RBH Board of Trustees.

Our trustees are essential to our success as a charity. As a trustee, you'll set our direction and hold staff to account, making sure we're always doing the best we possibly can for older people in the UK. You'll join a trustee team with a vast amount of personal and professional experience across a whole range of fields.  You’ll be warmly welcomed, participate fully in the governance of our charity and all that entails, and supported to develop your skills.

We'd love to hear from you whether you're an experienced trustee or have never been one. It's just important that you're passionate about creating a fair and equal society for older people and can embody our values. We are looking for particular skills and experience that are currently under represented on our Board, including legal, charities, local government, finance, public relations and education.

We're actively looking to improve the diversity of our Board of Trustees, so we'd especially like to hear from people from diverse backgrounds.
