We're still here despite cuts
We will still support older people and many of our services will continue despite losing Shropshire Council funding.
We offer you free, confidential and expert advice through our information service. If you need to know about social care, housing, scams or legal issues, we are here to help.
Our volunteers can visit you in your own home, provide a regular telephone call for a friendly chat or accompany you to access social activities in your neighbourhood.
Our home support workers can carry out everyday tasks that an older person may find difficult to manage, helping older people to maintain independence in their own homes.
Need a bit of help with your finances? We have advice to help.
We can provide support for people living with dementia and their carers.
Our day centres across the county offer friendship, activities and comfort.
In November 2025 we celebrated 75 years of supporting local older people, and we launched a fundraising appeal with an ambitious goal of raising £75,000.
Now, as a result of cuts to our funding, we need your help more than ever, so that we can continue to support local older people who struggle with feelings of loneliness and isolation. That's why we’re asking residents, businesses, and community groups to act today, to donate, fundraise, and help us rebuild.
