Physical Activity Sessions
The Importance of Staying Active as We Age
Staying active, building strength, and keeping fit all play a vital role in helping older adults stay steady, confident, and independent.
Falls, particularly for older people, can cause injury, pain, loss of confidence, and reduced quality of life. They are also a major reason for hospital admission and can lead to further complications and health problems.
Age UK Sunderland run a number of exercise sessions to enable older people to remain active and improve their wellbeing, if you are someone you know would be interested in attending please get in touch.
