Big Knit Little Tea Party Launch

Thank you to all our knitters who came out to support our first Big Knit Little Tea Party!

Our tea party on May 22nd brought together knitters from Guildford, Frimley, and Milford groups and visitors from local care homes who began creating the little hats for next year's Big Knit Campaign.  The group discussed plans for hosting their own tea parties and for plans to double the number of hats that were made last year. 

A special thanks to Susan, who could not attend the tea party but made these wonderful forget-me-not hats in support of Dementia Awareness Week. Age UK Surrey would like to thank local bakery Butter and Cream, who kindly donated beautifully decorated cakes and brownies for this event.
