How we are funded

We rely on your support to keep serving the community. We are supported by donations from the public, income from our charity shops, and some charitable grants. We are a local service with a national name.

What we do

  • We give advice

Our trained advisors offer free information and advice to older people and their families.

  • We give you a voice

Age UK Brighton & Hove are working with the local NHS Clinical Commissioning Group to represent the views and health needs of older people in the city.

  • We befriend

Our volunteer researchers visit older people in the community to engage in research about their lives and experiences, and make friends along the way.

  • We provide activities

We provide a range of activity groups and events, such as exercise classes, knitting and a Computer Drop-In, giving older people the opportunity to keep fit, socialise, or learn a new skill.
