Older people’s Café Club secures new venue

The Age UK Brighton and Hove Café Club has been extended, now taking place at Queensbury Coffee on Old Shoreham Road, as well as at Small Batch on Wilbury Road. The club is an opportunity for over 50s to meet up for coffee, a chat and the chance to make new friends.
- Small Batch - Corner of Wilbury Road/Church Road, BN3 2BD.
10 – 11am on Monday June 24th and Monday July 8th. More dates to follow!
- Queensbury Coffee – Barker & Stonehouse, 184 – 186 Old Shoreham Road, BN3 7EX.
10.30 – 11.30am on the following Wednesdays, July 17th, August 21st, Sept 18th and Oct 23rd.
Representatives from Age UK Brighton & Hove are at all Café Club events, so those attending can find out more about services for older people in the City and can request Information & Advice appointments. Age UK Brighton & Hove can support older people on a whole range of issues including money concerns, social care and loneliness.
Simon Dowe, Interim Chief Executive at Age UK Brighton & Hove said “The Café Club is an opportunity to meet new people over a coffee and is open to anyone over 50. If you’re feeling a bit lonely, want a change of scenery, or just want to widen your social circle, you’ll be made very welcome. Please drop in if you can.”
