Age UK Brighton and Hove’s Volunteer Co-ordinator, Richard Harris and resident handyman, Brian Spring are tackling the 3 Peaks Challenge this weekend, to raise money for the charity.

Leaving for Fort William, Scotland on Saturday morning at 4am, they start their challenge at 8am Sunday morning. They are climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales which are Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon respectively. They are due to finish the challenge on Monday morning.

Rachel Cashman, Chief Executive at Age UK Brighton and Hove said “Richard and Brian have been training hard and we’re really proud of their efforts. The money they raise will make a huge difference to older people across Brighton and Hove, going directly toward our vital services. Good luck guys, we’ll be willing you on when your legs feel heavy!”
