Crisis Carers - Brighton & Hove

Are you able to help your local community by becoming a carer?

Do you have a passion to care for older people? Are you looking for a flexible career, supporting older people when they most need it?

Role Responsibility: We have two positions available to join our AMAZING Crisis Care team, working 15 hours a week. We support older people when they need it most. We work 7 days per week and our service operates 8am – 8pm daily. Hourly rates start from £9.95 per hour (week day) and increase to £11.95 for Sunday/Bank holidays. We also offer paid travel, admin and training time as well as travel expenses for our Carers. The service provides short term care (up to 14 days) for our clients following hospital discharge, onset of a sudden illness or when informal care breaks down.

Dementia Support Worker

Hours/Location: 18 Hours per Week (Mondays Littlehampton 09:30-15:30 / Wednesdays Haywards Heath 09:30-15:30 / Fridays Bognor Regis 09:30-15:30) Ideally one person covering the full hours however we will consider a job share if this can not be fulfilled.

Rate of pay: £9.97 per hour

We are looking for enthusiastic people to support our already establish Daybreak services, we provide day respite for clients living with dementia, you will support the co-ordinator in delivering stimulating and enjoyable activities in an environment that is safe and friendly. These services also provide much needed respite for those caring for them at home and your role will also include supporting carers and signposting to other local support services. Social Prescribing Admin Support 

Monday to Friday 24 hours. Salary £13,492 actual (£20,800 FTE)

Base to be confirmed within Bognor Regis or Littlehampton

We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Regis GP partnership where we have three Social prescribers. We are looking to recruit  admin support for these  Social prescribers who cover the 9 GP practices in the Regis area. The social prescriber role  involves supporting clients to link with community services. This is an exciting opportunity supporting Social prescribers who work with clients to navigate their way around Health, Social Care and Voluntary Sector Services to access community based solutions to improve their quality of life.

The role involves supporting the social prescribers (SP) with the overall administration for the service. This will include inputting client information from referrals and outcomes from social prescribing coordinators on to a data base, contacting clients to arrange assessments, carry our monitoring and evaluation and sending out information to clients.

Our aim is to recruit an enthusiastic person who enjoys working with people to enable them to adopt an independent lifestyle. You need to be an organised person with good administration and communication skills and the ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.

Home Helpers Required

We are looking for SELF EMPLOYED HOME HELPS in the BRIGHTON & HOVE and WEST SUSSEX areas to help with household tasks, cleaning, shopping and provide social support to assist older people to remain independent in their own homes. Working between Monday and Friday, the hours are flexible and according to your availability.  Rates of pay are between £11 and £15 per hour depending on the area.

Car drivers preferred but not essential.
