Age UK Camden is an independent charity that helps older people to stay active, stay connected and get the most out of life. We've been working in the local community to support older people for 50 years and have 60 dedicated staff and over 400 volunteers helping us to deliver high quality, innovative services and activities for older people in Camden.  

We work with and for older people in Camden to promote wellbeing and help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience, providing services including Day Care, Advice, Counselling, Care Navigation, Dementia Wellbeing, Befriending and much more. We are also home to two subsidiary charities - Opening Doors London (for older LGBT+ people) & Personalisation Support in Camden (for disabled people) and the lead role in Ageing Better in Camden

AUC has two Trustee vacancies. To ensure the Board reflects our Camden community we would welcome applicants from Black, Asian and Ethnic communities.

Ideally the person appointed will have experience of governance work, the charity sector and working with older people, whether paid or voluntary.  We also welcome specialist expertise such as legal, finance, fundraising, social care, marketing, HR.
