Charity Boutique Shop Volunteer
The Charity Boutique is a busy, friendly place in Leather Lane. It raises vital funds for the organisation, helping us to continue our work providing life-enhancing services for older people in Camden.
What does the role involve?
Joining the team at the shop is about helping the manager create a welcoming, vibrant space that customers want to visit and support.
We are looking for volunteers who have experience in retail, and interest in fashion or want to learn and develop retail and customer service skills.
What will you get out of it?
- Be part of a team, making a difference to the lives of older people in Camden.
- Utilise your skills and experiences.
- Stay active.
What is expected of me?
- Working on the till processing sales
- Customer service
- Sorting and preparing donations
- Keeping shop area stocked and clean
- Any other tasks identified by the shop manager (s)
- One or more regular session in the week, 2 -3 hours.
- Days and hours agreed between the volunteer and shop manager
