What does the role involve?

You will work one-to-one with people in their own home and in the community, providing invaluable practical and emotional support and engaging the person in activities and opportunities that interest them.

What will you get out of it?

  • You'll have an opportunity to build confidence and skills in engaging with people. 

What is expected of me

You will be able to commit two to three hours a week. Tasks may include help with writing letters, helping the older person stay in touch with loved ones and sorting post. You will also be able to support the client in finding and using relevant services and following up on referrals.
