Charity Boutique Shop Volunteer
The Charity Boutique is a busy, friendly place in Leather Lane. It raises vital funds for the organisation, helping us to continue our work providing life-enhancing services for older people in Camden.
What does the role involve?
Joining the team at the shop is about helping the manager create a welcoming, vibrant space that customers want to visit and support.
We are urgently looking for:
- E-commerce Volunteer
- Sales Associate Volunteer (*Wednesday 10am-3pm)
- Wardrobe Volunteer (*Thursday 10am-3pm)

Job description:
E-Commerce Volunteer
Assist with e-commerce; Sort, prep, and list items for sale on Vinted & eBay.
- Photograph, list, and manage online sales for selected items.
- Ensure products are well-presented and accurately described.
- Manage shipping and customer communication for online orders.
- Manage the shop's Instagram account and respond to customer enquiries.
Sales Associate Volunteer
Wednesday 10am-3pm.
We are looking for volunteers who have experience in retail, or want to learn and develop retail and customer service skills.
- Operate the till and process sales
- Assist with visual merchandising and displays
- Prepare items for sale both in-store and online
- Support Gift Aid sign-ups (where applicable)
- Provide excellent customer service
- Carry out tasks as identified by the shop manager(s)
- One or more regular weekly shifts of 2–3 hours, with days and times agreed with the shop manager
Wardrobe Volunteer
Thursday 10am-3pm.
- Organise and display donations, ensuring items are sorted, priced, and presented neatly.
- Assist with rotating stock to keep displays fresh and tidy.
- Check items for quality and remove anything that may be damaged or unsuitable for sale.

What is expected of me?
- Working on the till processing sales
- Customer service
- Sorting and preparing donations
- Keeping shop area stocked and clean
- Any other tasks identified by the shop manager (s)
- One or more regular session in the week, 2 -3 hours.
- Days and hours agreed between the volunteer and shop manager
