Get There Together - Anglesey

Published on 27 November 2020 12:04 PM

Age Cymru Gwynedd a Môn along with local partners Medrwn Môn and Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, are proud to launch a new resource ‘Get There Together’, designed to support the residents of Anglesey to safely reengage with their communities.

Short, 1 minute videos have been created to help show vulnerable people and those living with dementia on Anglesey the main changes to shops and services across the island since the pandemic. These could include one-way systems, hand sanitizers and social distancing rules amongst others.

A series of videos are now available for all to view on the Anglesey Get There Together YouTube channel:

The hope is that the videos can help the island’s residents to get a better idea of what to expect when they go back out to the community. A questionnaire is also available to give feedback on the videos: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/8JPQCWL

The Anglesey sub-group members of this national project would like to extend thanks to all the shops and services who have already taken the time to support this project by contributing photographs and information for the videos. The aim now is to develop the resource to support as many of Anglesey’s residents as possible, so an open invitation is extended to any other shop or service to get in touch to take part and have a video created for them.
