Virgin Media O2 Join Team Age UK Hammersmith & Fulham in the Legal London Walk

Age UK Hammersmith & Fulham is thrilled to announce our participation in the upcoming Legal London Walk on 13 June. This event serves as a wonderful opportunity for us to raise funds for our invaluable Information & Advice service, which is dedicated to empowering older people and ensuring they have access to the support they deserve.

Supporting Older People Through Information & Advice:
At Age UK Hammersmith & Fulham, we believe that everyone should be able to enjoy later life to the fullest. However, we understand that older individuals often face unique challenges and may require assistance navigating the complexities of accessing the help they need. This is where our Information & Advice service plays a vital role.

Our dedicated team of experts provides a wide range of support, including advice on benefits, housing options, healthcare, social activities, and more. By offering personalised guidance and ensuring that older people are aware of their rights and available resources, we aim to empower them to make informed decisions that positively impact their lives.

Walking Together for a Worthy Cause:
For 19 years, the London Legal Walk has brought together the legal community to support free legal advice services on the frontline.

As the cost of living rises, the need for free legal help with debt, benefits, and housing is now greater than ever. This year, Team Age UK Hammersmith & Fulham, alongside the enthusiastic Virgin Media O2 Volunteers, will join together to raise vital funds for access to justice. 

By participating in this walk, we aim to create awareness about older people's challenges and the importance of providing them with the necessary support and guidance. We also seek to generate funds that will enable us to enhance our services and reach a wider audience, ensuring that no older person feels alone or uncertain about their options.
