We're a local charity working in the community to support older people, their families and carers.
We want everyone to be able to love later life.
Age UK Horsham District is an independent, local charity which has been working in the local community to help older people for 60 years.
We have 30 dedicated staff and over 100 volunteers helping us to deliver services and activities for older people in Horsham District.
All the money we raise stays right here in Horsham District to support our charitable services.
We are proud to be a partner with the large, national charity Age UK. As well as working with us locally, the national charity campaigns, researches and provides evidence for, and with, older people.
Where you can find us
Our main office and day centre is based at Lavinia House, Dukes Square which is off Denne Road in Horsham. Access is at the side of the Drill Hall. See a map
How we are funded
We rely on your support to keep serving the community. We are supported by our fundraising efforts, donations from the public and some grants. Make a donation or help with fundraising.
We are members of
Horsham District Older People’s Forum
The Horsham District Older Peoples Forum is a non-political, free-to-attend, voluntary group that acts as the 'ears' and gives a 'voice' for people aged 60 and over who reside in the Horsham District Council area or who care for someone who is.
Anyone can raise issues with the Forum that relate or affect local older people. The Forum is actively working towards an 'Age-Friendly' and 'Dementia Friendly' Horsham.
Sonia Mangan, our Chief Executive Officer, sits on the Forum’s Committee.
