Cream Tea Fundraising

Have a cream tea with us and help to raise vital funds to support our Coronavirus Appeal.

To celebrate national picnic month we are launching our cream tea campaign. We’re inviting everyone to enjoy a nice cup of tea & some delicious homemade scones - whilst also helping to raise vital funds for older people who have been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.

What’s in the box?

  • 2x handmade classic plain scones
  • 1x tub of Rodda's Cornish Clotted Cream (40g)
  • 2x portions of Coronet Strawberry Jam (28g each)
  • Birchall English Breakfast Tea
  • Kendricks sugar sachets
  • Serviette

We ask for a minimum donation of £6.50 per box, which includes free delivery to most local addresses (however there may be a small charge for some postcodes). We will be delivering to one area within Sussex each weekday as follows:

  • Monday - Horsham District
  • Tuesday - Crawley
  • Wednesday - Mid Sussex
  • Thursday - Brighton
  • Friday - Arun & Adur

How to order your cream tea:

To book your cream teas please give us a call on 01903 792 211 (Monday to Friday) or email events@ageukwsbh.org.uk

We are taking orders throughout the summer while stocks last!

Send us your cream tea stories...

Over the last few months we've seen so many people taking to home baking, so whether you’ve made your own scones or are having an Age UK Cream Tea we’d love to see your photos. Please tag us in any of your social media posts and use the hashtag #ageukcreamtea so we can share these moments online and in the next issue of Connect Magazine.

A big thank you!

Thank you to our sponsors, Bidfood and Kendricks who have kindly provided items for this box. All the money raised from the sales of this cream tea will ensure we continue to reach people in the community that need our help during this difficult time, with services such as shopping, cleaning, food deliveries, information & advice and befriending.
