Thrilling Heights: Capturing the Adrenaline of the Abseil Event 2023

Participants showcased their courage and determination as they conquered great heights.

Age UK Isle of Wight successfully organised an exhilarating abseil event that completed on 24^th September 2023, where participants fearlessly descended 100 metres of The Spinnaker Tower amidst strong winds of 23-knots. This was the final of a handful of organised abseils that took place this summer - some of which had to be rescheduled three times due to gale force winds. This event, aimed to raise funds and awareness for Age UK Isle of Wight's invaluable services for older adults on the island.
