The Age Friendly Island Team is looking for a Support Worker to assist a member of staff with a visual impairment in their day to day tasks. This requires efficient and effective administrative and support services to assist with reading emails and other documents, taking notes at meetings and ensuring that they are safe and aware of their environment.
‘Just About You’ (JAY) is a Domestic Service run by Age UK Isle of Wight to help our older Island residents remain independent in their homes for longer. Our Support Workers provide a wide range of help such as cleaning, food preparation, laundry, ironing, companionship, dog walking, outings and shopping.We are looking to recruit more casual Support Workers to join the team. All applicants must be able to drive and have access to transport.
The Age Friendly Island team works to promote the World Health Organisation’s Age Friendly agenda across the Island. They need a team administrator who can support them across a range of projects including training delivery, forums for older island residents and liaising with a variety of corporate partners.
