Afternoon Tea in Ormskirk

In April our Dementia Community Links and Daytime Support Team hosted a special ‘War time’ themed Afternoon Tea for our lucky clients who attend our Wellbeing Centre in Ormskirk.  The event was inspired by a project we took part in to design and create a commemorative wreath to support this year’s Commonwealth celebrations.  We received some funding to purchase materials and our DTS clients then set about making the wreath.  As part of the funding we were also able to host this special event to thank our clients for their efforts.  The event was a real success and people enjoyed dancing, reminiscing and of course the sandwiches and cakes!
