Royal Afternoon Tea
To celebrate the Royal Wedding we held a special Royal Afternoon Tea event at our Wellbeing Centre in Ormskirk. This event was part of the Later Life Links project that is funded by Prudential Life UK and supported by Age UK nationally.
The aim of this event was to encourage people who may feel lonely or isolated to come along, enjoy the day and find out about the many services available to them. We also invited local partner organisations to promote their services.
Over 80 people attended and enjoyed musical entertainment from the brilliant Music in Mind, a Royal themed quiz and some amazing sandwiches and cakes.
It was fantastic to see people getting up dancing and enjoying themselves. There was even a special appearance by a special couple..
