We operate a day care service offering those aged 50+ within the Plymouth area an enjoyable and friendly atmosphere to socially engage.

We provide a safe, enriching, social setting for over 50s where guests can feel supported in their needs, while feeling socially included, valued and fulfilled. Guests have the opportunity to engage in a variety of meaningful and stimulating activities which have positive impacts on physical and mental wellbeing.

Our friendly, experienced support staff understand the importance of a personal approach to care, and we deliver a special service that aims to improve quality of life and promote independence. We believe that it’s not about what I can’t do… it’s about what I can do.

“Since I have been attending the Venton centre, I have deteriorated significantly, and yet the wonderful staff are here to make our day enjoyable. Within 10 minutes I feel all my worries have gone and I’m busy getting on whatever the staff have set out for me to do. Whatever they do for me, whether it’s personal or part of a team, you always feel that it is no trouble and find myself looking forward to the next time.”

“My daughter arranged for me to attend the Venton centre 3 days a week. I enjoy the company of other day guests, we laugh a lot! The staff are brilliant and can’t do enough for you.”

“My Doctor has said the day centre is very good for my mental health and physical health. The charity is good. I feel very supported and the meal are very good. The support staff are very good also. Great company and companionship. It’s worth every penny!”
